And 2019 did not disappoint: from Emma Stone’s burgundy eyeshadow to Lady Gaga’s intricate updo, choosing the best looks of the night was nothing short of a challenge. The Vice star proved that chicness and a natural, undone look can coincide. Her skin looked healthy with a slightly flushed cheek, and her hair fell in soft beachy waves.

The Emmy winner’s hair was pulled back in a sleek updo that centered the attention on her radiant skin. We are fans of her ethereal cheek highlight, rosy blush, and slick eyeliner.
The Black Panther actress looked sleek in the front and fierce in the back with a voluminous ponytail that was long enough to rival Rapunzel’s. We loved her plum-colored matte lipstick and smokey eyeshadow combination, too.

The nominee sported a super deep-side part and an elegant low chignon. Her burgundy eyeshadow was the center of her makeup look.
We loved the star’s sporty ponytail, which fell into lush waves. Her makeup look was simple and centered on her rose-colored lip.

The comedian embodied old Hollywood glamour with an ultra-deep side part and voluminous curls. We loved her sapphire blue eyeliner, which gave the look a modern edge.
The actress made a case for statement hair accessories with a delicate silver leaf headband, which held her ultra-glossy strands back from her face. We loved her fresh-faced ensemble of full brows and flushed lip.
Gaga looked like a 21st century Holly Golightly with an intricate updo, bold brows, and a modern take on frosted eyeshadow.

JLo’s megawatt glow was hardly surprising, but noteworthy nonetheless. The 49-year-old completed the look with smokey eyeshadow, kohl eyeliner, and a glossy nude lip. Her hair fell in a soft S-shaped bend.
The Oscar winner caught our attention with her luminous skin, glossy lips, and lush lashes that framed her emerald-green eyes. Her hair fell in a piecey, tousled bob.
