If you’re not already following Jenny Mollen on Instagram, you really should start — immediately. Go ahead and hit the follow button, we’ll wait. It’s worth it. The actress-turned-writer and wife of Orange Is the New Black and American Pie star Jason Biggs, is hands-down one of the funniest people on the planet. Humor and self-deprecation literally ooze out of her seemingly non-existent pores.

On her feed, you’ll find photos proudly displaying her 1-year-old son’s “dad bod” and hilarious-because-they’re-true sayings like, “All women have at least one pair of jeans in their closet that’s trying to kill them.” Mollen also drops the occasional nugget of beauty wisdom. She once cut out her hair extensions using a nail clipper.

We caught up with the 39-year-old mom of two and author of The New York Times’ bestseller Live Fast, Die Hot at the Soho House in New York City during New York Fashion Week to find out what else is in her beauty arsenal. Keep reading to learn the 11 beauty, skincare, and medical aesthetic treatments (and providers!) that Mollen uses — and get ready to laugh and learn.

Eve Lom® Cleanser ($55): “I don’t really wash my face in the morning. But I have been into using this cleansing balm at night. It’s rad. I love how much they give you, and I love the little muslin cloth that comes with it to take off your makeup.”

Biologique Recherche® Lotion P50 Original 1970 ($67): “I use the one with the phenol in it. It shrinks your pores. It was really keeping my hormonal acne in check for a while. But now with the hyperthyroid [Mollen was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune condition, after the birth of her youngest son], nothing really keeps my face in check. I'm just riding it. But I still love it, and I still use it.” Read our editorial director’s review of Biologique Recherche P50 here.

Sonia Dakar Organic Omega Booster ($52): “This is awesome. The texture is amazing and it really absorbs and makes my skin feel plump.”

Dr. Barbara Sturm® Glow Drops ($145): “I don’t know what these are actually doing, but I love the way my skin glows when I use them.”

Biologique Recherche® Masque Vivant ($70): “I'm not good about doing masks in general, but I do like this one because it burns, so I feel like it’s doing something. I ran out a while ago, though, and there's no other mask I really use.”

Injectable Wrinkle Reducers: “I get the lines in my forehead and in between my eyebrows injected. I have this one line [one of the elevens] that just won’t die. I had it injected twice now. In New York, I go to Dr. Oren Tepper for injectable wrinkle reducers. He's like an artist.”

[Editor’s note: an injectable wrinkle reducer is a treatment performed by a professional to temporarily smooth the appearance of moderate or severe lines on the face in areas such as the frown lines, forehead lines or crow’s feet. As with any prescription, be sure to talk to your doctor about all the risks and benefits. Thinking about a consultation? Chat with a trained aesthetic specialist to find providers near you!]

Injectable Fillers: “I have filler around my [marionette lines]. And I just started puffing up my lip, but I'm not going to go crazy. I already kind of have a turned-up lip, so I really can't do a lot in the lip without it looking comical. So Oren injected them with filler right in the middle, not the sides.

“I’ve also done my cheeks before. I went to Dr. Raj Kanodia like 10 years ago, and this is a real story: He walked over to this floating lotus-like flower, wafted the scent in the air, smelled it, and then walked over to me. He marked all over my face and then just started injecting. He did give me the most voluminous cheeks I've ever had in my life, I have to say.”

Stila Stay All Day® Foundation & Concealer ($40): “It’s new, and it has a little concealer pot on top. The one I got may be a little bit light for my skin but it's awesome. I'm using it daily. Right now, I know where my beautyblender® is, so I'm using it to apply the foundation, but it'll fall under my counter and I'll lose it and I'll be a hand person again. Or my son will put it in his mouth, and I’ll have to take it away because it becomes a choking hazard. That's just how my life is.”

Lash Extensions: “Lately I've gotten into eyelash extensions, which has been a game-changer. You wake up and you’re like totally done. I've gotten so used to having them that I might not recognize myself without them. I was randomly using this girl who was coming to my house. But it's so expensive. It doesn't make sense to pay that every two weeks or whatever. So last time, I took a chance and I went to a lady at SpaBellesSM (a no-frills nail and spa chain in New York City). They’ve stayed on for a month. I don't know — maybe I'm not washing my face enough.”

Le Labo® Gaiac 10 Eau de Parfum ($305): “For fragrance, I only like Le Labo. I like anything that's like, woodsy, dirty, and sort of like, earthy. This one is the Tokyo city exclusive. I want them to make a Berlin exclusive, but they haven't yet. Santal . . . everybody wears it. ”
